Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
